Ball Bearings

Does anyone know where I can buy metal ball bearings? I'm thinking of looking in Home-Depo or Lowes but I don't know which section to look in. Oh,and how much do they cost? I'm planing to buy one with a half inch diameter. Thanks

KJ magnetics has a bunch of sizes they sell for making magnetic sculptures. Nickel plated 1/2inch balls are about $0.25 each. (Good place, too.)
Amazing Magnets has stainless and chrome steel (cheaper) as well as nickel plated (haven't bought anything here)
Eng Concepts has some too.

Home-Depo and Lowes have no reason to stock ball bearings in that size. I have seen them at the local surplus store (Axe-Man, $4.50/lb), and you might be able to find them at a craft/toy store as marbles-but the price will be fairly high.
