I'd be a fan, but this stupid computer blocks Facebook and any good socializing site, because it could cause me to be abducted by a predator. That's what they want me to think, anyway.

Well, in the group, it only says your first name. And, as long as your facebook profile is private, noone can see it unless they're your friends.
