CONTESTS

Would it be possible to have a board where contest applicants can post their entries. It gets VERY confusing when they are mixed with the general instructables. This doesn't seem too hard to do.

The contest entries get posted on the contest page.

I think Rick means the Weekly Challenges, where you enter by posting a link to your project in the comments.

The entries are always instructables.

A large proportion of projects posted are entered into contests almost as an aside. Every one of my recent projects has been entered into at least one, often two contests. I don't hold out any realistic hope of winning a top prize, and I would have posted them anyway, so quarantining contest entries would remove a large number of projects you would want to see from the lists.

As for the Ikea contest, that's a jolly strange one - I've started avoiding projects with a room as an opening thumbnail.
