Can I use a electric scooter motor for a wind turbine generator?

I'm asking this as that I have 15-20 electric scooters with several different motors in them. I would love to be able to take one the 200-300 watt VDC motors and use it in a wind turbine. thanks.

If it is just a straight DC motor, there should be no issues using it as a generator, providing the drive speed is similar to the speed the motor would normally run at.
YOu can only get 200-300 W out, at roughly the same speed they would be running at in the scooter.
