Can't post new questions

I can't post a new question to the site. Yesterday, it was erasing the title of the question at the preview stage and kicking back to the start, erasing your body text, today, the "preview this question" is greyed out and unselectable

Cache refreshed etc etc.

It appears that this bug has been fixed, possibly around 5:00 or so this afternoon (Pacific time). I just successfully created a question, which appeared in my list of questions. I also successfully deleted it.

The most recent question posted on the answers page is two days old.

Harumph. Your question appeared in the list some time in the past two hours (between noon and 2 pm Pacific time), with a "posted 11 hours ago" notation. Maybe "Pascal" is one of the naughty words ;->

Its now 10:07 a.m. PST and apparently the Questions page is still broken. I posted top level there just a few minutes ago and although it shows on my "You" page as having been posted, it doesn't show up on the actual Question page.

There are three new questions now (as of 12:35 pm PST) -- one from Vyger 13 hours ago, one from 2 hours ago, and one from an hour ago.

Yeah, its rather frustrating that there hasn't even been an acknowledgement from Admin that they are aware of the problem.

I dunno, is this how Autodesk does its user support? Occupy Autodesk.

You're right, you must purchase a seat or you can't use it either.

I noticed a few other issues (some still going on), and since the bug page was down (showing a pardon me msg and code), I had to find another page to post these website "hiccups" and found this forum page.

After several comments with others, I've sort of given up. My last post almost 24 hours ago was, "Anyone monitoring this page?"....

No reply as of yet.

I have poked both Gregg (frenzy) and Matt (StumpChunkman). They're supposed to at least acknowledge bug reports, but as you may have noticed, I'bles isn't as strong on communication as some of us would like (or expect).

My school has a bumper crop of communications majors - shall I refer them Ible's way? (Wait, on second thought, I'm not nearly that mean...nevermind.)

Probably ties in with the fact that there is only one new question in 24 hrs.

The programming for the site may be one huge string that gets recompiled every time someone fixes a period to a comma, one reason I like distributed code under a calling structure.  Less fractious.
Just an old outmoded opinion :)

Hi, Steve. I've just confirmed this. In my case, it's even more amusing. After creating a new question, the Preview this Question button doesn't do anything. Mouse-over shows the expected "javascript:submitForm()" action (a pity nobody uses simple HTML with server-side processing), but that action doesn't do anything.
Jan 13, 2012. 1:12 PMkelseymh says:
Can I ask a personal question? Do you have color-blindness, by any chance?

Both buttons on that page are drawn in a shade of orange (following the I'bles site convention). I have noticed (and pointed out) that the site is not designed in a particularly visually-accessible way; this would just be one more example of that...

You were first to report it because the forums themselves were hosed all day yesterday (since the last upgrade). Anyone who tried to post a forum topic couldn't get past preview :-) I think some of us were ignoring Questions because we couldn't get to the Forums.

The JS function "showLibrary " doesn't work either.

Same here.

Yes, it stops at Preview This Question; javascript:submitForm()
