Chapati ( Or any flatbread) With All Purpose Flour

I am looking for the simplest bread possible that uses AP flour and a fry pan .
Someone with more kitchen experience could develop this and evaluate the product better than I.
The devil will be in the details, I expect.

Tks much. It sounds very much like Bisquick. And Bisquick seems to be self rising floutr with oil added.

Plenty of youtube videos on the recipe and cooking of it which is an interesting process.

Have you done any or can you give information other than a suggestion that this was not a good place to ask or look ? Thanks

Then I do not understand what you are asking for. I searched "chapati" and saw all the recipes and watched one of the many videos that came up in the list. There may be a few flatbread recipes on instructables that I did not look for.

Try this recipe for Bannock. It was originally a Native Indian recipe (they use to cook it on a stick over a campfire), but you can make it in a frying pan or on a cookie sheet in the oven. It doesn't have a lot of flavor (kind of like a cracker), but it couldn't be any simpler for bread. :-)
