Comment vanished
My apologies if I'm in the wrong place for this. I took out a pro membership (I was a pro member 2 years ago) as I wanted to be more involved in Instructables as I'm now 66 I have more time to build stuff, but after commenting on Scraptopower's excellent instructable "Build a coke can sterling engine" I can't find the comment I made several days ago.
Its frustrating when you take the time to leave feedback about a particular aspect of someones work and then can't find the damn thing because its not where it should be.
Perhaps some one could point me in the direction of my comment or explain what might have happened to it.
Thanks a lot.

Please remove me from this site,
as I do not want to be offreing my expertise where it is not, and I am not, welcome.
I'm not a staff member, but I'd like to help if I can.
They were very informative and not the least negative.
This is the second day this has happened.
Please cancel my memebership to this inordinately judgemental and arbitrary website.

I hope that helps. No one is interested in censoring your feedback or to make you feel unwelcome. As a matter of fact, the people here are all really great once you get to know them. ;-)
The comments were caught in an automatic filter, and had to be released by a human.
Probable reason:
You have been looking at the same page when logged out. Non-sign-in readers see a slightly out-of-date version of the site to save bandwidth (or something like that), and it can be as much as an hour out of synch with the instantly-updated site seen by members.

Thanks for pointing that out StumpChunkman.
There is a mystery bug that pops up from time to time that makes random comments disappear.
If you make a long post, it is sometimes best to copy the text before you press "post comment".
I usually do make a copy but was in a hurry that day. Will copy my posts in future.
Thanks again.
