So, can you just drop in or something?
Kiteman says: Mar 27, 2012. 11:57 AM
You could try, but they're actually in the city now, on 2nd Street.
ilpug says: Mar 27, 2012. 1:47 PM
Oh, that location. I thought that there were two separate locations, one at the base and one on 2nd. Thanks for clearing that up.
Kiteman says: Mar 27, 2012. 1:51 PM
Not a problem.

Though this is pretty old, I would love to go. It looks like an airport/ super hi-tech battle ship station.

Was it an airport ?
gyromild says: Oct 25, 2007. 7:42 PM
It used to be a naval base
Goodhart says: Oct 25, 2007. 8:14 PM
Yeah, I remember reading that somewhere ...
Brennn10 says: Oct 24, 2007. 5:29 PM
I agree with Goodhart. I would die to go to a party at the Instructables HQ!!! You should consider making a base on the east coast!
ewilhelm says: Oct 25, 2007. 6:21 AM
We've already got one.
Bran says: Oct 25, 2007. 3:18 PM
Perhaps one a bit more Southern?
Goodhart says: Oct 25, 2007. 7:32 AM
Great! Thank you for that.
Bran says: Oct 24, 2007. 5:32 PM
We could make a base in my house....
Goodhart says: Oct 24, 2007. 5:21 PM
*sigh* Sometimes I feel like I live on Mars.....*sigh*
Kiteman says: Oct 25, 2007. 4:04 AM
Hey, at least you're on the same continent!
Goodhart says: Oct 25, 2007. 7:27 AM
Yes, let's see, I could save airfare and drive, if I had, um, 5 days to get there, 1 during the "party", 1 to sleep and rest, and 5 more to drive back. I can hear my boss now: WHAT? 12 days of paid vacation for a party? LOL Anyway, in my "condition" financially, Ohio would be too far away, much less CA.

Quick - glance at one of the round things and look away - what did you see, a crater or a bubble?

You want weird ideas, try degenerate incestuous lizardmen flying concrete airships on Venus. This guy is a complete loon, and really seems to believe what he says (I've exchanged posts with him on other boards).

His website is a bit out of date, so maybe he's in a rubber room somewhere...
CameronSS says: Oct 25, 2007. 6:47 AM
Wow...I didn't know it was possible to get dumber than Hoagland's page...
Kiteman says: Oct 25, 2007. 1:20 PM
Ach, sometimes I think I attract the loons ... ...the one who claims to have built a battery-powered spaceship that goes faster than light ... the one who claims that erosion works backwards and the dinosaurs died out because their food (limestone!) all went hard so they starved to death ... the one who claimed that he had discovered the particle that carries gravity and light at once, and is the root particle of all other particles ... not to mention a host of random YECs...
CameronSS says: Oct 25, 2007. 1:53 PM
I want that spaceship...Did he leave a number?
Kiteman says: Oct 25, 2007. 2:40 PM
This is the only way I know of contacting him. Don't mention me until you've gained his trust. ;-)

Am I the only one slightly worried by an ex-naval base flying a skull and cross-bones?

Please come to my house as soon as you can.
Bring me to Squid Labs.
Come back and using your fancy cloaking skillz, pretend to be me.

Actually, for me, the first step would be to sneak out of the house. From there, hitchhike.
