"Parse locale" is very interesting! There have been other threads reporting JavaScript errors due to language or character-set issues. What language do you have set as your browser's default? Is it English/Western-European, or one of the Slavic languages? What character set do you use as your default?

Actually, using Chrome on Win XP, the discussion page sometimes takes a couple of seconds to load up, like it is querying the database. It eventually pops up though.

Insufficient data, and not reproducible here. Browser and version? Operating system? Have you deleted your cache? Have you done a force reload (e.g., shift-Refresh)?

Hmmmm. Any problems with (and I hate to even ask this!) IE on Windows? Do you have any other Linux browser you can try? Sometimes those sorts of exercises can help to isolate just where the problem is.

Blargh. That's is a road to never-ending frustration. Is the SeaMonkey problem reproducible if you delete your browsing history and cache, cookies, etc., and start "from scratch"?

A common problem with the I'bles site is that bug fixes at their end include changes to either JavaScript stuff embedded in Web pages, or to cookie content. Because many browsers are agressive about reusing cached versions of pages, this can lead to inconsistencies and weirdness from the user's end.

Shall we announce Red Alert? Arm the nukes? Batten down the hatches? Hide the wimmen and children?
