Do Colleges look at Freshman year?
Do Colleges look at Freshman year?
I'm just wondering cause I'm kinda freaking out about my english grade. I'm not sure what I have right now, but last marking period I had an 82%, and right now I've not been doing so hot. It's a weighted class (an "A" is a 5.0, a "B" is a 4.0, etc.). I know a "4.0" is perfect (but I'm starting to look at a "C" here, which is freaking me out), but perfect isn't so great anymore. I'm taking almost all advance/advance honors class (all my classes are weighted, except German 2 and some electronics course).
Should I be freaking out?

I'm planning on applying to MIT, though I have no plans to attend...it's too far from home to come home more than two or three times a year. I just hope to be able to put "accepted at MIT" on my resume. ;-)
You're only a freshman? I would have guessed sophomore...
