Downgrading a Windows 8 Tablet to run Windows 7?

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to downgrade a HP Elitepad 900 to run on Windows 7 instead of Windows 8. (*Note - There are some reasons outside my control that dictate using Windows 7) I know that this device "should" be ok to run windows 7 it's just the drivers I am having some troubles with. Has anyone had any success with this type of thing and if so where can I get the drivers for this? I haven't installed anything yet for I want to make sure I don't brick the device.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry don't know much about tablets but, do you have access to the BIOS for boot preference? If so, do you have access to the drive? To try it out, I'd partition the drive and throw Win7 on the second part. Select that drive part to boot. See if would work. Throw in drivers, whatever. Can always go back to Win8 by selecting that drive to boot. Basically set up dual boot.

Win7 isn't equipped to handle a tablets hardware. You need special software and drivers to make it work. Since the tablet manufacture designed it with WIn8 in mid you may never find suitable software and drivers to run Win7 on the system.

I think that the issue is in the underlying design of the tablet vs the underlying design that windows 7 was made to run in.

Nerfing your hardware will not fix the issue. The problem is that tablets, which windows 8 is designed for, are not designed to run windows 7.

Honestly if you compare mid-range desktops that were running windows 7 those models are still comparable to the tablets running 8 now, so... if you can't do it, or if you have issues doing it, it's because the two programs were designed with different run time environments in mind.
