Electronics Book

I want to start a few projects using a Arduino board and know what I'm going to do. The problem is I do not understand some concepts and parts with electronics. I was woundering if anyone could recomend a decent Electronics Book to help me grasp concepts and what specific parts do. Try to keep it in the $20 range because I have a gift card to amazon. Once I document my project I'll do an instructable.

I ended up getting "Getting Started in Electronics" by Forrest Mims I heard of it a few times before like it was the bible of Electronics, I can always return it to Amazon.

BEST ELECTRONIC BOOKS (believe me, I have a collection and some are crap): listed best to worse, even though the worst is still pretty good 1) Practical Electronics for Inventors by Scherz it explains everything in easy to understand detail, yet still advance info 2) Teach yourself Electricity and Electronics by Gibilisco ALL info about electronics, I mean everything, harder to understand than above 3) Electronics for Dummies Good intro to electronics book 4) Robot Builder's Bonanza Good info about building robots UNDER NO CIRCUMST ANCES by the following books: Robot building for dummies building bots
oh, and btw: 1) Practical Electronics for Inventors by Scherz has a blue cover with a lightbulb 2) Teach yourself Electricity and Electronics by Gibilisco has a cover with asian food filled with electronic components

Try looking here for assorted resources, the books are at the bottom of the main post. "Getting Started" is recommended and from Amazon, free stuff is also available.
