Giving away a 1 year Pro Instructables membership!
I'm giving away a one year Pro membership. Why? I won one in the Homemade Holidays contest. I plan on continuing to support Instructables with payments every two years. So I want to share the love.
Here's how to get a chance at winning.

I used the random integer generator at Random.org to select a number based on my subscribers.
Thank you to my new subscribers. (I guess if you want to you can unsubscribe from me... but if I win another I'll probably do this again... and no matter what I do my subscribers will have a shot at it.) For anyone interested, I added 63 new subscribers. I benefited by interacting with some new people, checking out some different projects - some really undervalued ones too!
And of course, thanks for the Instructables staff for letting me do this!
Here's how to get a chance at winning.
- Your account must have been created on or prior to January 18, 2010. I don't want people creating fake accounts.
- You must not already have a Pro membership.
- You must have at least one Instructable published by midnight Pacific time on January 24, 2010. It does not need to be new - it could be years old. (It must meet the guidelines here - in other words, have original photos, decent writing, and reasonable organization. If you want to know if yours will qualify, post a link to it in the comments below and I'll give you feedback.)
- Subscribe to me! (Just click on the orange box over there ---> )

Some one I know who has a terrible fear of slugs and snails wrote "Beware! A gastropod lurks within!" on a plastic bag she captured a slug in. That sticky note now lives on her fridge, making me laugh every single time I look at it.

This might help their should be a way to take a snap shot with you web cam. If you cant do this useing the software that cam with your camera you might want to google it or something and maybe find and DL some different free software so you can. SAKAR international has software like this but not sure if it will work with your camera. It cam with one of those kids cams that i got for my daughter at wal-mart . We gave 12.00 for it if I remember correctly. Now of course whe wont let me use it LOL!

Thank you for your reply. I am currently repairing my digital camera, plus I wasn't exactly sure how to take photos for something like this. Maybe it will help someone who wants to learn tho. it woulda been nice to have been able to be a subscribed member, but I have alot of instructables (when I get my camera repaired) and atleast I can still share with others! This is a great site and I wish I were in a financial situation where I could support it!

I am subscribed, I have one instructable that I believe qualifies, I used my brothers account for several years before I created my own, but when I made my own ( september 14th 2009) Pro accounts had been created and All steps had been reseved for Pro's only, and I didn't have the income to get a pro account. I sure would like one:)!

You're in! Thank you - i thought his picture was perfectly appropriate here but amazingly absurd on the street.
I always enjoy the absurd drawings on the street.
Near my old school some graffiti artist made a scarface sitting on top of a T-rex with the text "say hello to my dino friend!" Although it's completely absurd I found it awesome :D
