You sorta haveto use your nails to push up the green rod while attaching the second Y clip, It takes practice

I tried something similar when trying to make a shotgun round for the oodassault. The trouble is that it's very hard to find exactly what kind of connection gives you the result you're looking for. Too weak and it turns into a shotgun. Too strong and you get a slug. Good luck trying to find one that explodes on impact. It would make a nice addition to knex guns.

this thing only explodes on impact, the problem is a pin impact sets it off, I have made it work in a tr8 though, I attached a orange connector with a white rod to it. It sorta worked

Lol yeah say hello to my original idea for a shotgun shell for my Oodassault. I put the orange connectors + white rods on like oodammo and then used a white rod, blue spacers, and a black hand closing off the other end. The idea was you could have a quick loading, repeating shotgun but the shells didn't work perfectly. I mean some may have been satisfied enough but sometimes not all the blue spacers came off. You had to rely on the chance that the connector dragged off the magazine and in the air while the blue spacers would continue to keep going. Maybe it would work by using a stopper device and then disposing the orange connector and white rods like a shell so only the blue spacers keep going. Oops sorry for babbling on about that.

if it hits something hard it does go off, but it has to hit something hard, dropping it onto carpet will not set it off
