Help for Android

Google has an operating system called Android. Click here to check it out. Anyways, I downloaded the desktop emulator and cannot get it to run!! I just get a mobile phone shaped window that says Android right in the middle of it. Can anyone give me any advice?

Go into the SDK and install everything. If it doesn't work, go into settings and check the first box under Misc. It will take awhile to install everything. After that you can go to Virtual Devices and create a virtual device. Once your virtual device is created, you can click start and it will run. It usually takes a minute or two for the virtual device to fully load after it's started.
