Isn't that kind of like asking why some people eat pig's knuckles ? :-)
The grass is always greener on the other side, and this applies to everything, I've actually found myself having some pretty odd desires because of this, once I had the oddest feeling that I 'needed' energizer batteries despite having duracell which is near as the same, all because I saw some powering something... It's a really fun game to play, take advantage of it to get what you want, using a little know how insane trades can be made using one of the most basic inferiority complexes in existence...

Oh no I cannot be stopped, I don't allow myself a debit card that works online or a paypal account, I once found an amazingly up to date charity shop, I cleared the buggers out...
In fact I think about half of the strange trinkets and odd parts are from there, they had parts bins, it was heaven, then a big store appeared and I was actually saddened so much, I went to a bar, after about nine pints, I came back and took the longest leak I have ever taken, all over the sign for the new thing...
