How Many Pieces?-Contest: Winners Announced!

Hello people of Instructables! I have a few pro memberships that have been around for a while now, so I have decided to make a piece-guessing contest. All you have to do is guess how many pieces are in my Knex skeeball machine. The six people that guess closest to the number will win!

The contest has ended, so it's time to announce the winners: The grand total of pieces in the machine is 28,396! Below are the winners and what number they guessed. 

Winners!
1st place: bethekind - 28,001

Hmmm, I did try, not that I was looking for winning, just seeing how close I could get.....it must have not "gotten through" (that happens sometimes from here....)

I think most people have wildly over-estimated this, so I'm going for eight thousand, two hundred and forty one, which, incidentally, is under nine thousand!
BTW - Great machine.
From reading this, we know he has over 26K pieces. I think it probably has more than that ball machine.
 
Hmmmm . . . I didn't compare it against anything, but looking at that absolute monster of a machine, you're probably right.
