How to Stand Still

i recently joined JROTC and for drills i have to stand still...but i have always have a problem where i always shake. ... its not medical or any thing but i just shake...any body have and suggestions on how to stand still.

the pant seam and closing my eyes methods arent avalible for JROTS but you mentioned meditiation... doese it work? are there any guides on it?
. If you don't normally shake, then it's probably stress/anxiety. You need to learn to relax a little bit. All they can to is yell at you. They can't eat you.
. If you do normally shake, inform the instructor.

. The Army has manuals and field guides for EVERYTHING you need to know. If a soldier is expected to do it, they have a manual. Ask your instructor or see the link.
. For meditation: think happy thoughts and breathe slowly and deeply.

well i always shake, and im never stressed, and im not afraid of yelling or doing pushups...im good at them both lol... but thx il try the manual thing
don't tense your muscles to try and hold still, relax ur muscles to stay still BTW I beat you rocket scientist! haha

Try tensing and relaxing different sets of muscles in turn.

. If it's just your arms, try grabbing the seams of your pants. . You may be trying too hard. Relax a little bit.

are you're hands to your sides? try and do a form of meditation? Can you close your eyes? closing your eys and relaxing makes it a lot easier.
