I get to go to the Instructables HQ!
Yesss!
I am leaving to Yosemite on Thursday, renting a hotel.
Then the next day (Friday), I am going to hike or whatever.
Then we go back to the hotel.
Saturday morning, we start out to San Francisco.
We get there around... I dunno, 3 or 4 or something?
I won't be able to make it to Yuri's Night, but the next day (Sunday), Eric and I are planning on meeting at the HQ at around 11 I guess.
This is gong to be sweet.

True enough, except if someone is still a nobody at my age, they are considered pretty much a loser.
I'm not a loser, I'm a winner...I've won prizes off the radio many times. I stopped counting at 35. the DJs know my name and address, etc.
I didn't say you....I said me (if you get to be my age, as I have, and haven't accomplished things). So much I have wanted to do and have not really accomplished any of them.

Sugar makes me sleepy, and good pure chocolate makes me mellow :-) It has to do with the upcoming HOPE convention in NYC, it will be the last one at the Hotel Pennsylvania, and it looks like I had a shot at going finally. But my wife doesn't want me away for all three days nor does she want to come along. I was reminded of this moments ago, when I answered a post in the HOPE discussion forum at the 2600 site. And so I got temporarily depressed *sigh*...the depression will pass, as will the HOPE convention it seems.
Really, I would rather just have the 3 days at the convention :-)

HAHA LOL! Don't worry, I am rarely offended, pretty much the only thing that offends me is the use of bad words. Usually I find that since there are no hand gestures, facial expressions, etc, people tend to get offended easily because they don't understand that you're just kidding. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't offending and didn't seem rude or mean.:-)
Nope, you were fine.....I actually ask if I have offended others way too often (ask someone that has been around awhile LOL)
:-) another way to say that is that I have been told that the only way I annoy and offend is by asking "if I offend", too often :-)

I think you're right. Actually, you generally manage to cheer me up. I've yet to be offended by you, and (in my experience anyhow) people let you know really fast if they're genuinely upset of offended.

LOL, after I posted I remembered Star, when they were running re-runs of Leno during the writer's strike, she was mentioned.
Yup - she even has an 'ible. (Well, a collaboration - she knitted a scarf, and I videoed it). I would let #1 & #2 have accounts, but they aren't 13 yet.

Technical site question: can you have more than one account registered to the same email address? We have a "family address", which we all use (it's a subtle way of keeping an eye on what the boys sign up for), which Kitewife uses for her account (I use my own address which saves her having to wade through loads of science and technology newsletters to find her own stuff - it's also our nutter-filter).
I don't think you can. The quickest way to find out is just try it. Although you seem to have a habit of breaking the site,

The only thing is, it is a pain in the neck having two accounts. Take today. I logged in as Monk, logged out, logged in as -er, well, you know- , logged out, logged out again, then logged back in as monk. This just to log from monk to you know to monk. Phew!

I stayed! I did originally sign up because of the yarn contest, but now I get on Instructables pretty often, I just don't add much to a conversation, mostly because I'm not a very interesting person.
