I have not received any email notifications from Instructables

Ever since I made an account on Instructables I have never gotten any email alerts from Instructables. For the email alerts I chose "as they are made" for all of them and never got a single email. Then I changed it to "once a day" and still did not get any emails.

I signed up for the Instructables newsletter and have not gotten it yet
Also, I did not receive a PM to tell me I was a finalist in the Necklace Challenge.

This is a known bug, which is being worked on, but there is a workaround. See here:

I don't think the notification issue has anything to do with the finalist PM. I didn't get a PM for finalists on the last three contests. They usually come directly, from contest staff to your Instructables inbox as opposed to the forwarded messages to personal email normally referred to when discussing the notification bug.

I've tried retyping it about four times with no result. I'm sure I didn't mistype anything.
