IO Error

I recently went to upload some images and every time I tried to upload it said "IO Error". What does that mean? How come I can't upload? And how do I fix it? I am currently using a Windows 7 PC and I do have a HP printer hooked up if that helps any?
I appreciate the help. Thank you.     KneXtreme

I just tried using the old uploader again and it worked. But how come I can't use the new uploader? I used it before with the same camera.

If you are having trouble with the uploader make sure you have the latest Flash installed on your browser and that you don't have any script-blocking add-ons (like Ad Block Plus). Then clear your cache and refresh the page.

Thank you. I'll make sure.

I don't know, but the "usual" uploader seems to be sensitive to updates in browsers - if yours hasn't been updated recently, that may be the problem.

OK. Thank you. And thanks for my 500th comment.

Yes, I have tried the "old uploader", same result.

What type of camera is it?
I think you might of taken the pictures in raw quality, which with the wrong software can be hard to upload.

Sony handycam.

I've uploaded with this camera before with no problems.

If I am taking pictures in raw quality, how do I fix it?

I'm not sure with Sony but my Nikon has an option button and that is where I change the quality of mine.

IO Error means input-output error, so there was some error while uploading them. I got that error also (a lot) of times when uploading pics, just retry uploading them.
