So i went on this website, because i need a 1.0uF ceramic capacitor.
would the numbers be 105 and a letter?
(there doesn't have to be a letter, but there may be)

Thanks!

Yep.. 0.001 10-3milli [m] (a thousandth) 0.000 001 10-6 micro [µ*](a millionth) 0.000 000 001 10-9 nano [n] 0.000 000 000 001 10-12 pico [p]

what would a 0.22uF capacitor have?
Here I'll give you a quick run down on the case coding every thing in ceramic capacitor is in picofarads, So your 0.22uF is really a 220000 pF capacitor so to get a case code you take the first two number 22 and the total number of zeros 4 and this is your number 224..... Just like the 105, it's 1000000 pF which is 1uF..... And they only come in a few values starting with 5, 10, 12, 15, 18, 22, 27, 33, 39, and 47........
what if a ceramic capacitor only has two numbers? like 27? is it 27 pF?

i understand all thet lableing stuff, but i don't know how many pf are in a uf, haw many uf are in a farad, etc...
1000000 pF in uF 1000000 uf in a Farad 1000000000000 pF in a Farad

yay people who are smarter then me! oh, and why did you have a doctor sew your fingers back on?
Not smarter I just read lot's even your posts about the PSP's which I know nothing about, notice how I don't say anything in them (( well I know how the drive works, the LCD etc, and I can fix them when they are broken, electrically, but playing games or hacking them forget it, and the kid just got one so now it's time to learn, they look like fun to hack )) Um ya I was removing a automatic transmission and the wrench slipped and the finger found a nice sharp piece of metal and split it open about 2 inches almost to the bone, so I figured I better let the doctor fix it, some things I will do but with out lidicane to put it to sleep this is not one of those things... Needless to say if you ever have to fix a car, get a set of mechanics gloves the $10 they are worth is less then the time you'll waste going to the hospital...

It actually wasn't that bad I think the tetanus shot the doc insisted I got hurt for longer (( I'm somewhat allergic to it ))
