If i wanted to add something to my existing instructable


If i wanted to add something to my existing instructable . Say i improved on a instructable . Do i just  add pictures to it and then republish it or can i collaborate with just myself ?

I have noticed that, when an Instructable is edited and updated (without being unpublished and republished), followers get an email to highlight it.

They'll get the "usual" email, then follow the link to have a look.

If you un/re publish, I *think* it reappears at the top of the list for new browsers to see.

Collaborations are for when more than one person works on the same project - you enable collaboration, name the members who are helping, and they can then edit your project or add photos. Only you have the power to publish it, though.

Just click on the Edit button where you see author options on the right side. You can go back in and do all the changes. Just save and exit. No need to republish.

...that said, if significant changes are made, he CAN republish it if it's different enough that he wants to. Not sure what that does to comments, ratings, views, etc. though.
