Illogical Pro Membership Pricing

Maybe I am misreading, but; the current Pro membership pricing states the prices as:  $3.95/Month billed annually; $8.95/Month billed quarterly; or $69.95/2 Years one time payment.  This would work out to $47.40/year; $107.40/year; or $34.98/year respectively.

Does this make any sense?  Perhaps you ment to price the second option as $8.95/QUARTER rather than per month?  This would work out to $35.80/year which would be a whole lot more logical.

Thanks for checking (I would like to upgrade but would like to know the correct prices before I do so)

I don't know about US banks, but often when a bill is paid in several installments in the UK it costs more because there is a cost involved in the processing of each payment, and the consumer is the one who ends up paying for it.

Regarding Pro memberships, though, I find the best-value option is to post instructables that are cool enough to get Featured, which earns you free pro-ness.

Welcome to the new math in the world of Autodesk accountants and lawyers. There is probably more overhead cost of administration for billing quarterly installments and know that it is harder to get further commitment after the shorter membership period expires.

Please check your instructables inbox for a personal message from me in a bit. Thanks.

Hey, good question. Those prices are correct, although I admit, it does look a little wonky at first.

Those prices are designed to steer people toward a lower overall cost, but that requires committing to either 1 or 2 years. It's kind of a standard pricing scheme--the lower amount of time you commit to, the steeper the cost.

Check your inbox, I've sent you an extra gift code I had for a few months of free pro upgrade to see if you like the features :)
