I'ma gettin' me Eddikated!

I'm headed off to college in the morning, on my way toward a degree in aerospace engineering. If that and the logo don't tell you where I'm headed, you don't get to know.

I'll still have my computer and Interwebz access, but I don't know if I'll be around less because I'm busy with schoolwork or more because I'm not doing household chores. I do have a single room and a 30-pound suitcase full of tools, so I am planning to continue to Make things, just not things that can be heard from outside my room.

If anyone here is going to the same university (note the logo), let me know. I only know three other people there and one of them I want to punch every time I see her, so I could use more acquaintances.

I have only one piece of advice, and it was the best thing I was ever bullied into doing, as I love it now.

Start climbing.

You've got a good wall: http://www.climbfind.com/places/indoor-rock-climbing-gyms/united-states/washington-state-university-climbing-wall
That is not the right Fn uni, this is.

. Thumbs up!
.  Although all the "study, go to class, &c" advice is great advice, don't forget to blow off a little steam every now and then. Do at least one that's-one-to-tell-the-grandkids thing each year.

'one of them I want to punch every time I see her' - So Lira is going to that university also?

Joking aside, all the best, we shall still see you around, which is great.
Glad you will keep making, it will help to keep you sane between Uni work.
Good luck, I'll share my three tips for success.

Go to class
Do the homework
Read the book.
I wish somebody had given me that advice... (Good luck, Cameron)

Cogratulations! My three tips for success are similar to TUA's:

  • Read the book.
  • Do the homework.
  • Go to class if the first two didn't work out.

And, what my lieutenant colonel used to write on the board the first day of class...

Strive for the minimum

going to class is only any good if you pay attention to learning something though...
