Instructables Flaw

I don't know about you guys, but on the right side of instructables there are pictures of other instructables. When someone posts a comment with a bunch of pictures, a lot of times you cant see a couple of them because they are blocked off by the pictures of other instructables on the right. Is there any way to fix this?

Im guessing its a bug with Internet Explorer. I suggest using one of the better browsers out there (being everything but internet explorer)
instructables is really too broken in konqueror and firefox i surf it on my 1680x1050 lcd and the comments still use a limited space in the center of the screen. long threas of nested comments are as bad as ever in konqueror (both 3.5 and 4.2) you cant upload images or make a new forum topic and konqueror is at all not internet explorer instructables should be fixed. and very possibly that after the fixes itll be usable for all users including explorer
Its universally standard for a websites width to be that. Look at all the big websites, they all do it. Instructables is not broken. Its a very sophisticated website, and the team have put alot of work into it. I use two 1680x1050 screens, and i tend to have two web pages open on each. What is it with people having to have there browser full screen..
the extra place in the wide screen could be used for the strings of replies that otherwise compress to 1 word / line as they advance instructables is broken cause it does not work properly in more than 1 different browsers. most other websites work well in all browsers. i would not disagree that severely if it was only explorer but its not
I use instructables is safari, chrome, firefox, camino, and opera, both inside windows, and mac os x, and i have no problems. It is not very often that a serious thread gets to the point where it is that small. You go code the website, and see if you can do better. If not than maybe just have a little gratitude for this great, and FREE, website that we have.
Hey, I love instructables, but I also agree that it's much better to be browser independant rather than optimized for one. I guess it's the basic desire for freedom from proprietory software. I wouldn't go so far to say it's broken, because it works almost flawlessly with every browser I've tried, but it could be a little kinder to other browsers.

I don't know why they coded it they way they did. I'm sure there are good reasons for it. It's not perfect, but then I've yet to see a perfect site. I see how sticking with one browser and making it optimal for that has its advantages. It also has drawbacks. I think anyone can agree with that.
i dont i see why instructables is built the way it is - to be as WYSIWYG as possible but if that prevents it from working in an ok browser then something in it is broken and should be fixed and i think that instructables coders did mega overkill with all that wysiwyg and visual effects. maybe thats all the problem. as diyers i'd expect from ourselfes to understand that if something works its better than if it does not work but has some cute fade in / out effects leave mozilla devs to push firefox to the users. its not the task of instructables
Again, you actually have no idea. Please stop now, your making yourself look stupid to those who know what they are going on with. Not an insult, friendly advice, intended in the most sincere of ways.
no, it does that with me on firefox
to me it doesnt maybe there was a long link in the post or something else that forced it to stretch ?
