I would like to introduce myself, I am Richard Verkade, 19 years old and I am a student in the first year of Embedded Systems Engineering at HAN University of Applied Science, in Arnhem (Netherlands). Embedded Systems Engineering is a study about designing, building and programming intelligent electronics based on microcontrollers, FPGA and microprocessors. You can think of things like robots, car electronics, the electronics of coffee makers and everything which is controlled by a microcontroller, nowadays almost all electronic devices are based on microcontrollers.
Embedded Systems Engineering is a study that can offer a wide range of job opportunities, like Professional PCB designer, Embedded engineer, Hardware designer, Technical test engineer, Embedded software engineer Operating system software specialist, Software tester, Technical trainer, Digital hardware engineer, ect.
In the first semester of the third year (27 august 2013 - 1 feb 2014) of my study I have to do an internship in a company that is in the field of embedded systems engineering. So the next question is very obvious, will there be a place for an intern from august 27 2013 till February 1 2014 within your company? I am looking for a paid internschip in the USA within a compagnie that is specilised in embedded systems or a company that designs smart electronics. (It has to be paid, because otherwise I could not finance my stay in the USA)
I capable to work with:
- Programming in C
- Programming in C++
- Programming and designing in QT
- Programming and designing websites in XHTML, Joomla, Css
- Building and designing PCB
- Developing electronics
- Designing 3d Objects in 3ds Max
- Working with lasercutters / 3D printers
- Programming on Atmel Microcontrollers
- knowledge of microcontroller connection to a computer (RS232 / usb)
- And much more
I have some experiences working with:
- Programming in VHDL
- Programming in Assembly
- Working with FPGA
I know it is very early, but because it is on the other side of the world I want (and have) to plan things in advance and find out what the possibilities are. I would very much like to work in the USA and within your company.
It is possible that we can speak over the phone, in that way I can tell more about myself and my studie.
You can contact me by email : firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your time.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Met Vriendelijke Groeten, (with kind regards)
