This is half a hack, but worth mentioning. A company called Dork Food makes a temperature controller and they sell it on Amazon. When you plug a non-programable heating appliance into the Dork, it provides the brains to hold the temperature to whatever you set without overheating. So now a $15 crockpot behaves like a $400 sous vide machine. If you want beef cooked to 132º, you get every bit of it cooked to exactly 132º. Thick or thin, an hour or a day, it doesn't matter. I can't overcook.

The other way around...
using a paint mixer to whip up a large batch of pancake batter.

Instead of using a microwave on my frozen mini pancakes,
I line the side of a steamer with them, and steam them over my oatmeal
on the stove.

i have a round glass benchtop cooker and no muffin pans would fit so i just cut the tops off 400g tomato can tins down to 1" and made the 8 needed to fit in my cooker

i use an icecream maker machine to make icy fruit drinks for the kids on hot days, watermelon is the most favourite

Have Stainless Steel appliances? Keep those annoying fingerprints off by using baby oil.

i cut a hole in the bottom of a refried bean can to blow them out

I also keep a bag of frozen peas in the freezer for an emergency cold pack. they form to any situation

More of a lifehack or tip then a true hack but a wet paper towel under a cutting board will keep the board from sliding around at all.

Any sheet of stainless steel can replace a pizza stone.

4 and 8" drywall spatulas for cutting bread dough,scraping flour and other debris from counters and removing backed on food from pots and pans.

What a fun idea for a challenge.

I use my muffin tin upside down as a laptop stand to help with cooling!
