MASH-UPS?
Does anyone else seem to think that a lot of the entries here are not technically mash-ups. I entered one that, the more I think about, isn't really a mash-up. Sure I combined a couple of things to make something new, but unless you consider turning two decorative things into a third decorative thing a "mash-up", I'm not entirely sure it fits this contest. I'm working on something that I think will be more appropriate, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks.

yeah, it seems that almost none of these are mashups. one mashup that really comes to mind is the knee pad bra, I think that's a mashup. It seems like whenever people post instructables recently they just put it in the contest, even though it does nothing with being a mash up. If I were the judges I'd be mad because it's just more things that u have to look through that arn't related.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if it isn't a mashup -- it won't win.
I'm sure you're right, I wonder how flexible the definition is though.
