Thanks to everyone for participating in the promotion! We had quite a collection of projects come in :)

Just to let people know, Instructables employees will be on vacation starting tomorrow (or the next day, depending on what their plans are) and won't be back until January 4th. If you email MediaTek@instructables.com starting now until then, you won't get a reply until the 4th.

Happy holidays everyone!

Just to clarify, in case you were worried, those of us watching the Mediatek email will be gone over the winter holiday and won't be able to reply to messages, but the site will still be up and running! You can still direct messages to service@instructables.com if you are having trouble with the site!

Tata for now :)

rjawale1 year ago

Unfortunately due to my engineering semester exams I couldn't submit projects made using Linkit ONE on time. :(
I missed the gift cards..
Anyway Now that I have vacations I'm going to put up all the LinkIt One projects on my instructables profile.
Better late than never!

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  rjawale1 year ago

I'm sorry you were unable to make the deadline, but I look forward to seeing what you create with the MediaTek LinkIt ONE board :)

Hi Penolopy!
I have already made an IoT based plant monitoring system using LinkIt ONE
Have to write an instructable for that.
Meanwhile here's a short demonstration of my project
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dD6IpAV2Oxc

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  rjawale1 year ago

That looks great! Looks like you really know how to utilize what the MediaTek LinkIt ONE board has to offer :)

Thank You! :)

Same here.

I've made this i'ble https://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-Audio-Playe...

How do I add it to the Linkit ONE collection??

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  DangerousTim1 year ago

You just submit it with the form like you did and then we will go through all the entries.

Thanks so much for the gift card! However I'd really love it if i could get one for amazon india because the shipping itself is $30 lol

Ha ha ha :D, same problem here bro. XD

But I was still able to buy some awesome stuff! Just a suggestion- Instead of ordering your products separately, you can collect all the gift cards first and then order all your products at once. This would greatly reduce the shipping charge.

For eg. you are ordering products worth $200, then the shipping charge would be somewhat $25 and the total would be approx. $260-270 including import duties. On the other side, if you buy a product worth $20, the total would be more that double the rate! I ordered a rotatory tool worth $22 and was surprised to see the cost jumped to $55, with shipping charge still $20 while rest was import duties! Since then, I've been adding all the goodies in my cart and actually buying then in one go rather than one by one. You would also notice that some products (like tablets, drill machines, sensors, cameras and other electronics) are much cheaper in america than in India.

Anyways, I am still very happy with this giveaway! This has given me opportunity to get some awesome tools and electronic parts that will help me to make my projects far better. Again, I would like to say a big thanks to Nicole, Instructables and Mediatek. :)

Yeah, I've already prepared my cart that way! This gift card is really amazing... I've already bought albums which aren't available in India at all.

Me too faced this problem. You can also check other sellers for one product.I bought all goodies like nexus 7 ,fujifilm camera, arduino kits,r pi kits, rotary tool, screen and many sensors!! A big thanks from my side to Nicole(also instrucatbles) and Mediatek!!

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  DangerousTim1 year ago

I'm very sorry for the difficulty. We tried multiple times to send gift cards via Amazon India, and I sat on the phone with them for quite some time, just to find out we can't make purchases on that website with our American credit card.

ossum1 year ago

This has been a great promotion, thanks MediaTek and Instructables!

rjkorn ossum1 year ago

I agree 100%. Gift cards are great and i appreciate them but I got much more out of it.

I liked following this post to see what other people were doing or saying. this gave me a bunch more ibles i had to "favorite", some new people to follow, and some new ideas to work on.

So, Thank you Nicole, Instructables, Mediatek and everyone who posted an instructable. I think i enjoyed reading other peoples work more than doing my own ibles'

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  rjkorn1 year ago

I'm glad people had a good time working with their MediaTek LinkIt ONE board. It's been fun checking out everyone's projects :)

HippyNerd1 year ago

Im still trying to make one instructable... its been very challenging. It might be more suitable for the fail contest though :(

We had a similar experience - we decided to look at is as less of a fail, than as more of a "need more time" :-) https://www.instructables.com/id/LinkIt-One-Phone-Home-Device/ Glad we entered it though - it helps tell the story of a larger build project that's ongoing.

LOL, since this post, Ive had 2 cars break, taking a whole day each, a tooth get infected and ending up in the ER, then the phone service was shut down by the cable company. Im still working on the phone, its been off since friday, and im not sure it will be on by this friday, but I am sure that I havnt been able to complete a single instructable, but I have half a dozen of them before the project will be completed, assuming it does get completed.
I will check out your instructable when I get back from the cable company.
Penolopy Bulnick (author)  HippyNerd1 year ago

I'm very sorry to hear that. Please make sure to submit any issues to the MediaTek forum and you can email Mediatek@instuctables.com with any questions or concerns. Best of luck with your making!!!

Penolopy Bulnick (author) 1 year ago

Please make sure you are submitting completed projects will full directions, codes and schematics (when relevant), and pictures showing your MediaTek board being used to make your project (pictures of your MediaTek board are REQUIRED and entries will not get gift cards without them). I was one of those last minute people.....

Plus I think I duplicated 2 form submissions, Sorry about that!

Hi, i posted and submitted my project at 10 days ago, but i didn't receive my gift card :/ thank you

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Macinblack201 year ago

Hi, I'm sorry, but I do not see any entries in my document from you (Macinblack20). Could you please try submitting it again? Form: https://docs.google.com/a/instructables.com/forms/...

Did you get mine? :)

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  gulliverrr1 year ago

Yep! I'll be looking at yours today :)

I submitted again :)

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Macinblack201 year ago

I see it in there now!

gulliverrr1 year ago

Hi, if I post something tonight (assuming it will be eligible) do you know when I will be able to receive and use the amazon gift card? Trying to use it for my Xmas shopping :)

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  gulliverrr1 year ago

We go through entries every business day. So, assuming everything is good, today.

Tonyench 1 year ago

Did anyone recieved an amazon gift card today

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Tonyench 1 year ago

I'm sorry, we got a little behind, I'm going through all outstanding entries today and awarding gift cards where appropriate.

Lucifer81 year ago

Today is Tuesday and I have not got the gift cards yet why . am I not going to get those

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Lucifer81 year ago

We got a little behind last week since I was on vacation. You should have gotten gift cards from us recently.

Penolopy Bulnick (author) 1 year ago

Today and tomorrow are Autodesk holidays. Anyone who submitted a project after business hours last night (11/25) through Sunday (11/29) night should hear from us on Monday.

Got the emails last night. Thank you Nicole!

Hey, do you have some news about this event? I sent a email for Nicole today, i hope for a answer soon :)

Not much news from me. I just a lowly author trying to get a gift card or 2 :)

It looks like there was a really big response to the giveaway. It's 3 weeks to the end so time to get building stuff. I hope to get another one in.

What did the email say , if you don't mind me asking

Just the automated amazon email for a gift. I also got a featured item email notice. That was a cool bonus gift.

Penolopy Bulnick (author) 1 year ago

I have been on vacation and just started working again today. I can see there is a lot of back up and I'll be doing my best today to get caught up. Please give me today and tomorrow to go through entries, reply to emails, and in general get back in the groove of things :) Thanks guys!

I assume that no response from a submission means that the 'ible is not eligible?

they've always been good about responding either way. I still think it's the holiday backup.

I got to work this week and when I saw the little red message light on my phone I looked at the display, saw "35 new calls" and was ready to go home. I still didn't get through all the vm's left for me and it's Friday!

I got a response today so I know they are catching up. That makes them more responsible than me. just gotta be patient and let them breathe......

But the i' ble that I had published are took eligible

Tonyench 1 year ago

I did not see my entry on the mediatek collection , how come

Diwask1 year ago

The Mediatek collection is gone from the home page, no response since several days. So is the gift card giveaway done?

rjkorn Diwask1 year ago

I was a little concerned when I saw that....

I submitted one on Monday but never heard back.

I though they might just be backed up after the holiday......

Tonyench 1 year ago

This is the link to the mediatek collection https://www.instructables.com/id/Mediatek-LinkIt-ONE/ The giveaway isn't over they said it would end on december 21st

CTbles1 year ago

If i publish multiple entries at the same time, will I receive all the gift cards on the same day

Yes, if they are all accepted, they will be merged into one Amazon card.

I got an email that I have publish 2 instructables that are basic tutorials so i'll not be eligible for the gift card. I've worked hard making those for the community still that response?

Here are the both:

https://www.instructables.com/id/LinkitONE-Room-Hum...

https://www.instructables.com/id/LinkitONE-Temperat...

According to the above guidelines, we have to publish instructables for the community and get gift cards but they said these are just basic ones??

Please help!!

grow231 year ago

man is there no way to still get in on this... I don't know how I missed it but I feel like I've let myself down.

thanks

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  grow231 year ago

We gave away all of the MediaTek boards, but if you get one you can still participate in the promotion.

Tonyench 1 year ago

what do i do when I finish the instruction

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Tonyench 1 year ago

You can find all of the directions in the post above, but you submit it using this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1xHXcwmgfIPvU6iqpc...

Tonyench 1 year ago

Aparently my friend has one is it ok if I use his and he helps me figure it out, or do I have to get one for myself

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Tonyench 1 year ago

Getting help is perfectly fine and using someone else's MediaTek board is also okay, but you need to be the one actually making the project, taking the pictures, and writing up the Instructable to get a gift card. What matters to us is that you yourself are making something with a MediaTek board.

Tonyench 1 year ago

If i'm new to the website can i still participate. Also if you don't have a lin kit one where can i buy one

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Tonyench 1 year ago

Yes, as long as you are a member of Instructables, you can participate. There are a couple places you can purchase the MediaTek LinkIt ONE board:

Can the deadline be changed from 21 december to somewhere in January.

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Dushyanta 1 year ago

We do not have plans to extend the deadline.

Plans can be made.

Good point

+1

JustinN11 year ago

I made another: https://www.instructables.com/id/Super-simple-dashboarding-directly-on-the-linkit-o/

JustinN11 year ago

Just submitted one: https://www.instructables.com/id/Linkit-One-Serving...

Does it automatically get added to the MediaTek collection or is that something that someone else does? I really never go the hang of Collections on Instructables.

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  JustinN11 year ago

Someone goes through all the entries to make sure they qualify.

sebnibo1 year ago

Do all the images used in the Instructable have to be tacken by camera or will you except some from the internet

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  sebnibo1 year ago

You can use 1 maybe 2 images from the internet if you have to, but you also MUST have images that you took of your project so we can see that you actually made something/did something with the MediaTek LinkIt ONE board.

JustinN11 year ago

I ran into a battery issue that perplexed me for a few hours (and then I though about it all day at work). For the life of me I could not figure out how to power the board via the battery. Then I played with the switches and this is the only sequence that reliably gets it powered up via the battery:

-Set the switches to USB and UART

-Plug in the battery

-Switch from UART to MS

-Switch to BATT - it will boot into storage mode, but not be connected to usb so will just sit and not "run"

-Switch to UART - it will start the sketch and stay on

Any other way I do it, it puts itself in a boot loop.

Hey guys, I have been working ona couple of draft Instructables using the LinkIt one board and I have been having problems with the Serial Monitor. It doesn't seem to print the values from my sensor's on the Serial Monitor. I have been using the same syntax I use for my Arduino Uno. i.e.: Serial.begin(9600); in the setup & Serial.println("Hello World"); in the loop. But for some reason Hello World doesn't get printed on the Serial Monitor. Anyone facing similar problems? Anyone has a solution to this.

to monitor the values on serial monitor, set your com port to MTK USB Modem Port then click on the magnifier icon on top right

I faced the same problem. Glad to find a solution to it. I will give it a try now. Thank you sir :)

thank you Saiyam...

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  antoniraj1 year ago

Thanks for the answer antoniraj. MediaTek also has a forum set up that people can check out when they have issues: http://labs.mediatek.com/forums/forums/list.page

thank you Nicole for the link...

I faced the Serial Monitor problems on the Arduino IDE (1.6.2). But when I tried it on the Arduino SDK released by MediaTek(1.5.8) it worked. Upload the code through the debug com port using the older IDE if you face this problem. Open the Serial Monitor from then modem com Port.

Badly, I missed it out :(

Penolopy Bulnick (author) 1 year ago

And the making is underway! Many of you have gotten your MediaTek boards and started posting your projects, and it is awesome! Also remember, you don't have to get a MediaTek board from us to enter. Anyone who has a board and uses it to make something is eligible to get a $50 Amazon Gift card for each project they make, document, and post.

While this giveaway is pretty open ended, there are a few things to keep in mind.

- Please remember you need to post your own images of what you made. If we can't see that you've made something with an actual MediaTek LinkIt ONE board, the project will not qualify for a gift card.

- Make sure you are documenting something. You don't have to make a complicated project with 100 steps, but we want to see you make something. Just introducing a project isn't enough. Please tell us what you made and how.

If you have any questions, please feel free to comment here or email mediatek@instructables.com.

Hi Nicole, I could not find a link to the Mediatech Collections on Instructables Home Page. I have to access the collection through the link at this page only.

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  antoniraj1 year ago

I believe it is scheduled to go to the front page at a certain time. It'll end up there.

Now I can see, it is on every page under 'Featured' on top

Hey, I posted an instructable yesterday using the Linkit one board, filled out the form, and I don't see it in the Mediatek collection. How long does it usually take for it to be added?

UPDATE!
You do not have to get a MediaTek LinkIt ONE board from us to get an Amazon gift card. If you get a MediaTek LinkIt ONE board yourself, you can still use the form above to get a gift card BUT we will ONLY ACCEPT Instructables that are published between Oct 12, 2015 and the deadline, Dec. 21, 2015. Please reply or PM me with questions.

I have received yesterday... Thanks a lot..

Recieved mine today. Thanks a lot

I just noticed that the link to submit the instructables needs special permissions and is not accessible.

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  LightBug1 year ago

I have turned the form on. Please remember only fill out this form once you have posted your Instructable.

I'm from Karachi, Pakistan. Received the board this afternoon. Thank you very much once again. Will try to make something exceptional with it!

Woah! I received it this afternoon.Thank you too much and now its my turn to make the best thing I can make with this board!! :-)

JustinN11 year ago

I received mine today. Thank you very much. Now to make a few things!

hello penelopy. What's the current shipment status of the boards? Have they been dispatched from your end?

They were just put into the mail yesterday.

Will any tracking number be provided to us? And when can we expect to receive the boards?

FedEx didn't really give us things conveniently. If you are interested in getting a tracking number, please email MediaTek@Instructables.com and we can see if we can dig it up for you :) When you get the board will depend on how far away you live from San Francisco, California. Things take longer when they go internationally.

FedEx people in India already called me for certain documents to get the package cleared from customs and they gave me the tracking number also. The package reached Bangalore, India today. I think I will get it tomorrow or the day after.

I am from India as well but didn't receive any email or an update.

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Saiyam1 year ago

Hi, it takes different amounts of time for different people, even if they are from the same country. You should hopefully get the package or hear from FedEx in the next week or so if you have not already.

Ok, thanks :)

I am from india too. My parcel cleared customs today evening and it would be delivered by tom.

My question is that : did you got any kind of customs duty?

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Ayush Sharma1 year ago

Hi, As long as everything went as it should, there shouldn't be any customs to pay for the package.

Hi!,

Everything Went Good! I Got the package.. There were no Customs to pay.

Thanks , i will post an project soon.

thanks penelopy. will there be a tracking number sent to our email/inbox?

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  chalei1 year ago

Please email MediaTek@instructables.com to get information on your package.

Done, Thanks penolopy. Sorry I mispelled your name before. :)

Thanks

robo103021 year ago

Hey Penolopy, I wanted to know when the boards were going to be ship because I have to order some other parts for the project. Thank You

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  robo103021 year ago

They will ship in the next couple weeks. We are hoping to send them out by 10/08 but we have to see how things go.

danmulvey1 year ago

I missed the chance at submitting a proposal for the boarsboard unfortunately, but lucky for me I was at the IoT hack day at the Amazon aws pop-up loft last week and they just so happened to provide each of us with this same board! I've been messing around with it and it's a lot of fun so far. I'm planning on ordering a pay as you go sim card soon to start using those features as well and I'm really excited about the possibilities.

Anyways, my question is can anyone submit projects and be eligible for the Amazon gift cards or do you have to be one of the people that got a board through this promotion? Thanks!

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  danmulvey1 year ago

Updated answer, see top comment in forum post.

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  danmulvey1 year ago

At this point in time, the gift cards are going to be limited to those we gave a MediaTek LinkIt ONE board to.

Saiyam1 year ago

I will try to get the best out of this thing! Thank you for selecting me :)

Penolopy Bulnick (author) 1 year ago

Everyone who entered the giveaway has been messaged. If you did not get a message, please PM me so I can answer your questions.

Hi,I had receives 2 messages one saying "Congratulations" and other for "Wait list" but I am confused.Thank you too much!

That happened to a couple people because there were a fair amount of people that submited multiple forms. I tried to remove all the duplicates before making my choices, but some slipped through. If you got a message that says Congratulations, then you can ignore the other one.

When I click on the link from where we come to know about our project , there comes "You need owner's permission".Thank you for clearing my doubt. Thanx for selecting me!

I see. I thought you guys meant the other form. Okay, yeah I think we've just left that one turned off for now since no one will be able to use it until after we've sent out the boards. We'll make sure it's active when the time comes.

Have the boards been shipped?

No. It takes time to get the bulk shipment set up with FedEx. We are planning to get them out in the next week or so.

Now I will try my best to make my project thank u for selecting me love instructables.com

Thanks for selecting me.

I got waitlisted. What does that mean?

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  ajmal hassan1 year ago

If we are not able to send a board to any of the winners for any reason, we will go to the waitlist to pick a new recipient.

Dushyanta 1 year ago

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Dushyanta 1 year ago

I will be emailing all of the winners and then I will make a post here so people are aware that the recipients have all been chosen.

This only just appeared on my wall but I can't access the form. I am new to this but would love to see what I could do with this.

I'm very sorry, but the deadline for the giveaway was midnight Pacific Standard Time.

Penolopy Bulnick (author) 1 year ago

Hey Penolopy! Could you check if my application has been successfully submitted?

Yes it has.

please check mine too.

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  hudaib261 year ago

Hi Penelope! I submitted mine an hour ago, and I'm worried it might have been a wee bit post the deadline.

Can you please check if it is submitted??

Thank you so much!

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  Satyavrat1 year ago

The deadline is in 22 minutes. You're fine :) We'll be turning off the form when midnight hits so you won't be able to apply after the deadline.

Thank You! :D

Hi Penolopy Bulnick, it seems there are two versions of chip sets, MT2502A (has 2G modem support) and MT2502D (has no 2G modem) in LinkIt One boards. Can you tell us which one is being offered here...?

I think it is MT2502A chipset...

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  antoniraj1 year ago

There are no numbers on the board or the box. Can you link me to the two different ones and I can see if I see a difference?

Please turn over the board. Keep the sim slot to your right. Just left of sim slot there are two chips. The bottom one is the main Chip. You can read what is written on that. It will be something like "MT2502 AV". See attached image for reference

Pic.jpg
Penolopy Bulnick (author)  antoniraj1 year ago

This board does not look like that. It looks like these.

Front: http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/images/product/Li...

Back: http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/images/product/Li...

There is a metal plate covering up what you are looking at. If I find someone at the office with a board in use, I'll let you know what it says under the plate, but I don't want to mess with one of them that will be sent out.

I think It is MT 2502 A chipset. They have covered the backside with a metal plate to protect the chips. In the backside picture, what are connected on the right side are GSM antenna, wifi antenna and GPS antenna

do I need to add my location in my profile info to parcipitate?

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  AviV11 year ago

Hi, You need to completely fill out the application to qualify as we want to be able to send these without delay once we have chosen the people who will get one.

Wow this board is exactly what I've been looking for! Finally built-in Bluetooth, WiFi, and onboard analog-digital conversion. Also nice to have pin-for-pin Arduino compatibility. Are there any Arduino shields that it doesn't work for? I guess it depends on whether or not the shields use AREF & A3 since I see those are NC.

Seeedstudio has compiled a list of compatible Groves and Shields with LinkIt One. You can down load the Excel file from here

I would need a gyro and accelerometer for a 1440p VR headset project. Would this be compatible with the 6DOF sensor board by sparkfun?

https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13339

Or any other low-cost gyro/accelerometer that doesn't drift and is accurate enough for VR headsets?

Answer from DJ:

Yep, this board and the associated library should work just fine!

Which is better?

Intel edison board, or linkit ONE board

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  ajmal hassan1 year ago

I got some insight on this from DJ:

The LinkItOne is meant as a widely adaptable wireless development board for creating connected (by nearly any means) devices and provides the hardware for doing so in a familiar Arduino style development environment if that is what you are most comfortable with. The Edison is a tiny x86 computer (having only wifi and bluetooth built-in) that runs a lightweight version of Linux, can run Arduino sketches, and is adaptable for more traditional computing rather than hardware interfacing. If you like the Arduino IDE and want to make a wirelessly connected device, go with the One. If you are comfortable with the command line and need a compact linux computer, go with the Edison.

and can two forms be submitted?(if you did not write properly in the first form)

Do you know about Linux support ? or is it too weak ?

  • CPU core: ARM7 EJ-S 260MHz

  • Memory: 4MB RAM, 4MB Flash
Penolopy Bulnick (author)  rzrfreefr1 year ago

I got some insight on this from DJ:

The board was developed to run Arduino-style C++ only. While its tech specs could support a tiny (perhaps Yocto) distro, Mediatek does not provide software or hardware support for running Linux on this board. I would recommend the Raspberry Pi, or an Intel Edison for small form factor Linux applications.

Can you tell me if my application has been submitted successfully?

yes and yes.

I don't feel shameful in saying that I don't have any idea of what type of ideas are appreciated I told my Friend that a dimmer lamp controlled by clap he replied that this type of idea would be rejected please help me

All ideas are acceptable, just explain what you want to make and why you think a MediaTek LinkIt ONE board is what you need to make your project awesome. We aren't rejecting any ideas, just, in the end, we will have to choose 250 people from everyone that applies.

Thank You for ur support

I havn't recived an email confirming that my application was
submitted? Also how long will it be until we find out who accepted? If
any one can answer these questions for me that would be great.

We aren't sending out confirmation emails, but I see your response has been received. I'm not sure how we are announcing it at this time, but it will be after the giveaway closes on 9/14/15.

Just to ask. Who will pay customs fees Instructables or recipient?

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  YT1MD1 year ago

I believe that when we send out the bulk shipment of MediaTek boards, we will be paying the fees. I will have to double check this, but I think the issues only arise when we have to send these packages off one-by-one after that (such as what happened with some people with the Intel Edison boards).

If you want a quick start using this board to control things then check out pfodDesigner app which will generate complete code for a custom menu to control this board via bluetooh or Wifi from pfodApp. The pfodDesigner is free as is the pfodDemo but you will need to purchase pfodApp to do the real control. pfodApp also supports SMS control, but this board uses blocking SMS calls in its library and so is not suitable.

To connect this board to your wifi network and to config other settings like static IP and server portNo, or client username and passwords, you can use pfodWifiConfigV1. The app is free and there is a free library to support LinkItOne.

Should I have recived an email confirming that my application was submitted? Also how long will it be until we find out who accepted? If any one can answer these questions for me that would be great.

We plan on trying to have everyone selected a week after the application closes (so on or around September 14th). We are not sending out confirmations that applications have been received, but I see yours has been submitted sucessfully.

Thank you Penolopy.

Top 250 people(first come first serve basis) or the top 250 best ideas will get the boards?

Penolopy Bulnick (author)  rjawale1 year ago

They will go to the 250 people that best describe what they are going to do/sound like they are going to follow through and make an Instructable when they get the board. It is not first come first serve.

oh!
Got it.
Thank you

Submitted, There are so many possibilities with this board!

Wow!! GSM and GPRS + WiFi..Submitted, this should be a lot of fun during the harsh winter months..

Thanks :D

the form won't let me apply it says I need permission

Thank you for letting us know! You should now be good to go to apply :)

wow 400 characters that seems to be a long explanation of what you will build

yay! It works!
