*Instructable posted 11-2-10 see it now Mezak vs TheDunkis' Oodassault Pistol Version 3.6 I say HOW ABOUT BOTH

i proudly present to you TheDunKILLMeZak gun! lol idk just thought the name sounded funny
anyways ive been pretty bored the past few night and had time to build
after building both the MeZak and TheDunkis' Oodassault Pistol Version 3.6 i found a lot i liked about both guns and a lot i didn't like about both guns so i started modding... several hours later i ended up with this
im not finished with it but it is basically TheDunkis' Oodassault Pistol Version 3.6 with MeZak's mag
i modded both up a bit until i got the gun i was hoping for when i first built em both
one key feature is the rubberband tightly wound around the bottom of the mag this applies pressure to it ensuring the mag pusher stays securely locked in place when pulled
the mag tilts back as always however this time it stays in place on its own once loaded up just flick the mag forward and the mag snaps back into place and actually locks a bit which will forever prevent the mag from bouncing around when running or whatever
anyways obviously credit goes to TheDunkis and Mepain and Zak and whomever else wants some credit... anyways i hope you all enjoy the mods and ill mostlikely continue working on the gun to improve it some more
btw id love to here your feedback on the design let me know how it goes for you and GOOD LUCK!

stripper clips! thanks for the ideas TheDunkis' n bakenbitz

NEW vid up on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DoCIkfMSxU

btw i think im going to attempt to make a shotgun attachment for this gun that would mount to the top

11-1-10 *NEW pics NOTICE how the white rods are alternating in pic 3 this strengthens the gun further

Hey Killerk, can you post an instructable for your TR-18?

Legend name, good gun

Post it or just show internals.

Literally all you have to do is take like the 1st or 3rd layer off then we can all see the internals and build.!!

I believe the back is the same as my 3.6. The main changes are with the magazine and front triggerguard. And then the handle thing is optional but pretty easy to do.

Looks good. Well It doesn't look the prettiest but it works good at least. The whole reason I made the tilting mag that I did was so that it'd be different than the MeZak. Unfortunately it wasn't quite as effective. I'm going to see if I can redo the magazine to work as good as this one but look a little better too. I'm also going to see if I can make my stripper clips easier to use. I like them a little better than the BB method (though, not to sound butthurt, but I did make the first version of the bb clip with my first posted oodassault which he then made a modded version of) because it doesn't require you to take off the guide rod which would gradually weaken the connection with the magazine. Either way, I like clips better than removable magazines because they're so much simpler even if they're a tad slower to use.

Oh and how does that balljoint magazine roof work for you? The whole reason I didn't do that was because the green rod causes the balljoint to bend ever so slightly which affected accuracy for me. Maybe it works for you though.

Anyways, I'm glad you liked the oodassault, or half of it at least. =P

Alright, I took a shot at it and I'm pleased with the results. I tried your handle mod and I'm still meh about it. It's about the same for my hands comfort wise but I'm used to the looks of the middle part so I'm probably going to add that back in.

I made a magazine similar in concept to this one in that it locks back and clicks against the gun. I'm not too sure about the pusher because I decided to make it lock more similar to my previous oodassaults rather than using the blue connector grips. I can change that if I want though. I made slight changes to my clip design and now it's really fast and easy to use. You don't need to lock the pusher to use it. You just open the mag and push it down, then lock it back while holding the clip. Then you can fire the weapon with the clip still loaded in the gun.

Actually, I'm gonna grab pictures. I'll grab a video later.

That's cool, I'll have to make some mods after I finish making my own awsome weapon!

There is no real difference between this and the oodassault, except for the shape of the mag, and that is just aesthetic.

Ok so I just watched the video and I must say that was pretty nice. Can you try out my Jackal v4 and modify it? It worked fine for me when I posted it, but I want to see if you could improve it and post your mods.
