My 1950s Hobbies treadle fretsaw remade needs a new home.

Hi Folks.
I recently obtained a rather more modern electric scroll saw at a bargain price and as space is at a premium in my little workshop my 1950s Hobbies saw is looking for a new home.
I have considered offering in on one of the several the freegle groups I am a volunteer moderator of but as the Instructables community is close to my heart & I believe that there is almost certainly a maker out there eccentric enough to find it interesting to use I thought I would try to find it a home here first.
It has obviously seen better days & isn't really up to fine limit work but I have had some fun using it & it is more than up to the job of roughing out work.
I live in Hertfordshire England & as this thing isn't exactly a lightweight I really dont want to go to the hassle of trying to pack it for shipping so ideally it needs a home fairly close by, I dont have transport at the moment so whoever wants it would have to collect it themselves.
If anyone is interested please dont be shy, let me know ASAP as I really dont relish the idea of it languishing at the back of my shed.
It's going free so take the opportunity to give a loving home to a bit of maker history.
All the best.

Sorry but unfortunately it went a while ago, to tell the truth I had forgotten I even posted this.

Kitewife says I don't have enough space in my sheds to keep it...

That's a shame :-(
I did think about emailing you before I offered it as I think it's the sort of thing you would get a kick out of using (and modifying even further) but I thought it would be a bit far to travel to collect it.
If I can't find it a new home here I may contact the shop, they are proud of their history & may like to have something like this on display somewhere.
Have you tried Steveastrouk, or gmjhowe?

I believe Steveastrouk is in Manchester, I'm not too sure about gmjhowe but according to his featured author write up he spends a lot of time at Nottingham hackerspace, both those trips would be a bit of a trek although either of them would be welcome to it if they were interested.
To tell the truth if I had space I would keep it but I needed something that works a bit faster for some upcoming projects I'm hoping to make a bit of cash from so it has to go.
It's a shame we no longer have our pub, I would have made a nice big shelf & added it to the décor; of course when we had the pub I wouldn't have had time but it's a nice idea ;-)
True, but both have transport, and Steve had a huge workshop.
Steve has one :-)
Why am I not surprised?
