My new website... Killerjackalope.co.nr
I've quietly been working on my site, complete redesign and whatnot since it needed it and because my old host folded at some point.
There are a few of my projects on there, my photography's up there and there's a blog - read the latest post and grab a free coffee from starbucks tomorrow if you're in the UK, just print the voucher.
I'd love feedback on the design etc and the content.
Cheers, Adam.

All the images below are related, which could be construed as a little worrying.

That page might load because it's smaller, if not I have no clue what's going on...
The good news is, I think all the bits I might change you have done as images, which makes it very easy to alter/alter back.
Although most people have been commenting on the font, I think there is no problem with your font choice, more the layout is not quite meshing. I am not sure if its supposed to be left aligned or centre aligned. Feels like it is somewhere imbetween.
Each whole page is also self centering or should be doing so, which might make the left hand pages look weird in the middle of the browser.
I would be loathe to get rid of the font, due to the effort of remaking the images but also because I like it an awful lot. I will have to retouch some images to make them a little more readable.
Thanks for the advice, it is a work in progress so things to change are good.
Out of question do you think the midline reds on the homepage work?
On one page I was scrolling quickly through, your format of having images in a grid type layout, the ad box was similar in graphics and I was tricked into clicking on it - I should of known better or maybe you did have a project "5 things not to eat-some weight loss autoplaying video with a loud announcer"
That add'll need vetted out then, they're an experiment since I have an account for youtube videos anyway and I only ever see domain adverts being signed in to google and holding an account. I want a balance of blending in and not tricking people.
Also the grid layout isn't entirely consistent.
I don't think your last pic of the pills for this topic is warranted. Supplements for either manliness or womanliness, I dunno. Certainly don't want to send wrong message to the youngins.
Thanks about the simplicity, you should have seen the old iterations - the change is startling...
And by the text I meant the text over the images. Maybe if you add a simple drop shadow, bevel or maybe an outline of some sort it would help it pop out. Also some of the letters are pretty thin on parts, so bump up the font size a touch?
Just some simple suggestions.. Again, it's very nice, Bravo. :)
Hmm, drop shadow may be the answer, part of the issue seems to be with shapes in the images, cheers for the suggestions.
One thing I do notice though, is the spacing between the images isn't consistant between home, projects and photography. You should take the spacing of the home page (which is good spacing) and apply that to the other two pages.
As for flash, I loathe flash sites, they're too heavy on computers, lose attention obscenely fast during loading and are often buggy. Plus I've know this site works on my phone, another I made works on iPad as well as my phone.
The other one is nowhere near as tidy design but it's what the guys want, blacks and reds with lots of stuff, it's nearly ready to go though.
