Need help buying a bass
I was thinking of these:
Epiphone EB-0 Electric Bass/All-Access Bass Pack
Squier by Fender Stop Dreaming Start Playing Affinity Precision Bass Pack With Fender Rumble 15 Amp
Peavey Zodiac Bass Stage Pack
Anyone have experience with these or know if they're any good or worth the price?
Thanks

. If $300 is all you have to spend, I'd suggest putting all your money into the bass. Until you can save up a few more bucks for an amp, you can use your computer, stereo, or just about anything with an audio input to make noise. IIRC, you don't even need a pre-amp (double check that before depending on it). Or use one of the headphone amp iBles.
. PS: Some of my favorite bass work is done by Gary Thain on [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uriah_Heep_(band) Uriah Heep]'s Uriah Heep Live (1973 Bronze/Mercury) album. Check it out.
(What - you come in here with that username, asking for bass, and you expect to get a straight answer?)
