Need help with wiring mono jack
Okay, here's the plan. I'm taking a children's keyboard from goodwill and adding...
*a mono jack (second pic)
*a switch for choosing between mono output and the internal speakers (last pic)
*a strap
I just have a few questions reagarding this project. First off, could the mono jack possibly be over-powered and mess up an amp?
Finally, should I use stranded or solid hook-up wire for carrying the signal? Both are copper.
I appreciate any help you can give on this subject.
