One of the things I am working on, but am not sure yet how to organize it, is an instructable that deals with young persons with Asperger's syndrom. At this point, the "science" lessons have been fun for my little student, but I still have to develope a way to slow her down and not want just be amazed and go on to the next project. They are, after all, for learning.

I also am having difficuties setting up the camera to take the shots I need, both stills and mov files.   I may just have to keep it rolling in a tripod and edit out huge spaces of nothingness :-)   Here is a shot clip of an experiment we did with milk, food coloring, and a drop of dishwasher solution:

Does this have anything to do with DIY or making things?

Less do it yourself and more teaching kids how to save the earth with recycling!
Please check us out on youtube! MissPandGeorge
Thanks so much for the interest!!

Most of the topics here deal with building or rebuilding by re-purposing; a much more energy efficient form of recycling.

Yes! And that is awesome! This particular series is a little bit different than some of the things that I have seen on instructables which is why I posted it in the forums. The slogan for this site is: share what you make! And I made a kids webseries. Most of the set was constructed from recycled cardboard and fabric. I hope you enjoy! And I apologize if this does not seem appropriate to you.
Tell us how you made the sets, or how you're doing the production, and it'll be more relevant to the site. As it is, this posting is essentially SPAM.
I have nothing against what you are doing, but this is an "instruct - able" website with a philosophy to "share what we make" so that others can do what we did by following our instruct - tions...

If you posted an "instructable" on how to create your characters or how to produce a web series, then including a video of the project in action would be fine. Like others have said, this alone is falling into a category of "free advertising"... also known as spam.

In my opinion, its important to understand this distinction.

I hear and understand all of the complaints made. As mentioned I never intended to upset the community here. But I got an email from From: Penolopy Bulnick

Subject: http://www.instructables.com/id/Miss-Persona-and-the-Marvelous-Melodies/
"Hello, I am glad that you want to participate in the Instructables community. Unfortunately, this does not qualify as an Instructable. However, this would make a great forum topic. Please post this in the forums."

So here I am in the forums. I'm confused as to why I was told this was the place to post this kind of content and yet I have received such negative feedback. I'm really not trying to spam anyone. I was just looking for a way to get what I made out into the world. I am at home quite sick today but if there are still a pile of complaints tomorrow I will take this down. Thank you
We are not trying to be negative, merely helpful. If it could include some form of instruction, it would be more appropriate, but no one (as far as I can tell) is trying to be hateful about it.

I really appreciate you guys hearing me out. We, unfortunately, did not get a lot of footage of us creating the props, puppet or set but I will absolutely keep this in mind for our future productions. Also, I will ensure that anything else I post to this site is in strictly an instructiable. Thank you for being so kind in your feedback.
We do have "discussions" on other things here, but that comes after we know the person better. No harm, no foul :-) The picture above reminds me of someone I worked with at an insurance company, oh, 23 year ago....but then, that person is now in their 50's any you appear to be in your mid to late 20's.

aw shucks. worth a shot. Just took a peek at your instructables :) I will have to try the raspberry torte! mm ! :)
I can understand your confusion when you were directed to do so. If anything, there is a grey area here, and those who flag spam for removal may look at something like this (that doesn't contain any directly relatable information for makers), in a different light; and may suggest that you include some "how to" aspect. That being said, your topic is still here. So unless you hear otherwise (from a staff member), you are free to leave it as is.
SO, as others have said, this is a place for sharing HOW we build things, re-purpose things; otherwise it becomes a free for all ad dumping place.
Which is a long way of saying "no".

I'm sorry, does this upset you?
He's just saying that it isn't a very relevant show for a DIY website.
