. From the Photosynth web site: "Photosynth installs two programs on your computer: a Web browser plug-in for viewing synths, and an application (called "Photosynth") for creating them." . The site looks like it's on the up-and-up, but, if you don't like installing "strange" software on you computer, you may want to skip this one.
Photosynth.net is part of the Microsoft Corporation, so "looks like it's on the up-and-up" is a matter of opinion... L

you got to see it to appreciate the work put into making it this program will be huge in the near future just like everything from the microsoft (in my opinion)
