Peanut Butter & Jelly Beer!

Short's Brewery has a Peanut Butter and Jelly Beer.  My favorite sandwich of all time is the PB&J.

And, why not? Beer = Liquid Bread.

I'm thinking of making my own. I've been homebrewing for about 5 years now, thanks to this instructable:
https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-Beer/  (check it out).

Maybe an American Rye with peanut powder and some sort of fruit added. Blackberry? Strawberry?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Does this make you say "mmmm" or "blegh!!!"?

P.S. Yes, I know Peanut Butter and Jelly is an American idea. Marmite Beer is not appealing to me in the slightest.

Hmmm....maybe a framboise or kriek with some peanut oil added to the wort? Doesn't appeal to me, but that's mostly because I don't like fruit-infused ales in the first place. If you want the "bready" mouthfeel, what about doing a pseudo-kriek, but using an oatmeal stout as the basis?

Finally, isn't "Marmite beer" rather redundant? Spreadable or drinkable, it's still S. cerevisiae :-)

Wait, What? Marmite is...what?

I only ever tried it once (before I knew how delicious beer was). Maybe I should give it another go...

And I would avoid peanut oil because oil kills the head on a beer. And I agree, I never drink fruit beer. I didn't even consider kriek.

I'll experiment w 1 gallon batches, and post results.
"Marmite is made from yeast extract, a by-product of beer brewing."

You're right about the oil; I wonder if you can buy a peanut infusion that would work.
IIRC one can get "peanut butter powder" without much if any oil in it.....would that work? I remember reading about it years ago, so it may not be available anymore, but one could then add their own oil to get the "peanut butter of choice" as it were.
Looking forward to it :-)
