Peel an Egg
After watching the "Sprint Cut" on how to peel an egg at http://www.waitless.org/ I was intrigued. I thought this might be useful for Tim and me considering how many hardboiled eggs we eat. So we gave it shot. Results are below (unfortunately, I didn't realize the digital camera doesn't record sound). We're not certain whether it belongs in Handy Tricks or How Not To...

Dram shop or Dramshop is a legal term in the United States referring to a bar, tavern or the like where alcoholic beverages are sold. Eric-- you were too gentile! Tim really hit it hard! I was just about to make a topic saying how great these ads are... I actually pay attention to them, and watch them! (I think its funny how you both "stop" in the same position :P) By the way -- the shirt thing didn't work for me, the holes are wayy to small. Maybe if you wore a size too big. How to tie shoes quickly is already on instructables... so that works...
I have mastered the shirt thing, I can do it with an oversized shirt, a properly sized shirt, and even a jersey! All I have to do is find an undersized shirt.

Something the video didn't capture but might be of interest: Tim found these eggs in the bottom of the fridge. They were probably at least a month old, and were completely green on the inside. Some of my hesitation was in not actually wanting to find out what was inside the egg...

Goes to show what I know about it :P Actually, the book isn't about trying new things. Its about pulling pranks on friends. Force them to do something stupid by telling them how good it is over and over and over and over, in rhyme. (Sam-I-Am never eats the eggs in the book either!)

They were cooked, so it's not like they were truly rotten. They were just.... old. Also, we were exhaling, not inhaling.
Well, how did they smell before they were cooked? Or did you use some elaborate contraption to place the eggs in the pot from 200 yards away? Or were they cooked and in the fridge?
They were cooked a month ago and left in the fridge. We just happen to have half-a-dozen hard boiled eggs sitting in the fridge when I first saw that ad. That's Squid Labs for you.
I was too. The shirt thing didn't work for me either though, and neither did the sorbet.
. How could someone with a name like Weissensteinburg possibly be "too gentile" (or Gentile at all)? heehee
Oh yeah, but it does work if you grab at the waist instead of the sleeve. Its not as quick, but its quicker than normal.
(It makes the shirt a "funnel", so your head will come out easier.)
I tried this after I saw the ad too. But I couldn't peel the holes, but then again, I didn't try. I have tried almost all of the ads I have seen, except for the baby, the turbo park, and the shoelaces cause I have slip-ons.
Just so you know, clicking the link gives you a "404 Not Found" error...You tacked a comma onto the end. Just so no one can't figure out why the server's down...

Terribly inefficient, suck, don't blow, then you can accomplish shelling and eating in one step.
