You could create an image note by just dragging a rectangle (right mouse button held down) on your image. It is sometimes wonky though - may only work in edit ing an ible or in regular view of a published ible. Trying to add wording on its own line just before or after the image placeholder when you are editing the body of the text sometimes works. You can play around with multiple images and see where it falls.
