Sad, 3 days without anyone else commenting. I swear I saw other slamfires in the past, I just don't know what they're called so I don't know how to search for them. I had an interesting idea for a dual-slamfire that I submitted to Red for a grand idea to build for his 100th. Anyway, this is neat and all, but suppose you could give it the option of using a trigger? So if you hold down the trigger, it still slamfires, else it'll charge and hold a shot like a normal gun? Options are nice. Got plans on your next build? I love how fast you're spitting them out, staying active.
Thank you. Setting the trigger up like that would be sort of difficult for me, but I did consider it at one time.
I was out of town, so I haven't been building. Last thing I was working on was a mass produced single shot. I wanted to be able to build three of them, they had to look good and shoot 70 feet with a couple bands. LOL, no surprise that I failed.
It'd be interesting to make a repeating performance weapon that's as simple and piece efficient as possible just for the sake of making multiple casual war weapons in a pinch. Could give that a shot instead. Also, have you ever seen my flat pistol? Something else you could try if you're looking for a small challenge is to turn that into a repeater. Otherwise, you got other plans already?
I tried that! But it looked so bad I hated it. I can try again.
Indeed. I could try that too.
Well I am working on a crossbow again, but I don't like it too much so I may attempt another project.
