COMMUNITY : HELP : BUGS


Please, release me; let me go...

Yesterday, I posted a long comment, with clear, cogent, and on-topic content, to a forum topic which was specifically addressed to me. It is now more than 25 hours later, and my reply is still trapped in whatever antiscientific purgatory it was banished.

If it's not going to be released, could someone on staff post a comment to that effect in the forum topic, so that the OP and others know they aren't going to get an answer.

When nobody replies. That may or may not be a useful indicator :-/

The fool-proof test is to log out and see if your comment is there. You can also tell without logging out by checking the forums - if it doesn't show you bumping the topic, it's caught in the filters.

Cuz that's what it means when your post comments and they disappear into the aether for everyone else, but show up for you if you're logged in.

Just think of this as a way to fulfill my required hours of community service. No telling what kind of trouble I would get into if I were out on the street.
