  • Cut down on energy costs and reduce your electric bill. Simply plug the easy-to-use Power Cost Controller with surge protection into the wall and connect your electronics to the power strip to see how efficient it really is. Large LCD display will count consumption and cost by the kilowatt-hour, same as your local utility. Monitor your electric consumption by hour, day, week, month, even an entire year. Also check the quality of your power by monitoring voltage, line frequency, and power factor. Measures 8-1800W appliances. This must be the non-power strip version. I've been tempted to buy one to calculate the TV and PC power usage and have a chargeback to my kid's allowance...
You are remarkably evil! The idea is generally that you make them work for the privilege of TV and then some if they want allowance...
Well, you haven't heard of my idea to hook up the treadmill and exercise bike to crank the electric generator to power the TV and other electronics. Play all you want but keep pedalling...bwhhaaahahaa
I have threatened my wife with that same idea (one bike for the TV) and one with the tension on a bit higher for the computer (to limit eBAY time :-)
Now that I like, I have been wondering just how much power people can produce, see there could be lots of evil plans to take over all the gyms in the world afoot...
