As I type, it's 3am at HQ* - when they wake up, they will check the filters and release your project to a wider audience.
In the mean time, feel free to spread the link to your project to whoever you like.
*I'm not at HQ!
I'm ok with it going to moderation but don't appreciate the site telling me it's live. I linked to it on my blog and Facebook and nobody can view it
Also on my mobile u can only see step 1 Click next results in page not found and the image is broken
If u log in then u can see it
Not cool.
The link should work - I can see it, and I have no special access.
The mobile is a different issue, and HQ are working on a mobile-friendly version of the site.
If an instructable is held for moderation there should be an indication to the user that it is in that state so that they aren't spreading around broken links to their user community.
Now I had to print out the instructable to a PDF and post that on my blog so I could stop getting emails "Hey man, your link is broken"
In summation: Being held for moderation = FINE
Being told your project is live when it is, in fact, not = NOT FINE
Anyway I am happy the instructable is up now and in the future I'll wait a day or before linking my projects up.
Thanks

I would not tell my users something unless it was accurate.
I'm not trying to crawl up on a high horse or anything. I'm a software developer by trade so i know how much effort goes into these things.
I also take my blog and facebook community VERY seriously (as you can tell..LOL) So posting bad links is not something they expect from me.
Normally, if a project gets caught in the filters, the direct link still works as normal (see Jayefuu's comment about caching).
Only about half the steps work. The others send you to a "this project can't be found" page
The "allsteps" link is broken
The PDF download link is broken whether logged in or not logged in
I went and posted to my blog and social media AGAIN that it was fixed and they could view it.
Now again I'm getting emails 'Hey step 3 doesn't work dude" etc
Argh...

man this really stinks!
