That looks really fun, too bad whenever you put your head on them, the tv will turn off. :-P

My suggestion would be to buy a cheap dance-dance-revolution mat, take it apart and use the 'switches'. Wire those switches in to your tv/radio remote and you're golden. The only minor issue you might have is that you will need a little window on the cushion which must point at/near the tv/radio.
