Resistors and LED question

Hello, I have a quick question about resistors and LEDs. If I am making an LED flashlight, do I attach the resistor to the (-) side or the (+) side? Thanks!

nope, resistors don't have polarity, you can connect them anyway you want. when I first got into electronics I had those 2 exact questions.
