me and him were talking about this before. and HE said ok knexfreek if you can get 30 people to say they want me to stay then i will.
HE told me he was staying if i got 30 people.. I didnt ask him that if i got if he would stay. HE brought it up.

On a side note, there was nothing in my comment to elicit such an angry response from you. There was nothing in your post suggesting that you talked to him previously, just 'If we can get 30 people to say so, he will stay.' Not, 'He says that he will stay if 30 people want him to.'
Still, I do not believe that he should allow himself to be influenced by others. It's his decision. Do not count me in the 30 that you 'need' to get him to stay.
