Sewing:Any other way to do the tailor's tack?

I suck at sewing, is there another way I can make the Tailor's tacks?

Maybe by stickglue?

any type of material that would temporarily glue the parts i want and wash off?

This product, Roxanne Glue Baste It, provides good adhesion until you wash it out. Has a tiny tip for precise application.

Another idea, depending on your particular project, might be small safety pins.

I'm a little confused. A tailors tack is a loose hand stitched basting stitch. Unless your pins are bent your sewing machine should have no problem sewing right over them. There might be an issue with improper thread tension, using the wrong needle for the fabric, or not using the right presser foot tension. Always test on a small piece of fabric, it will save you a lot of headaches. If you're using a serger, not a sewing machine, then you can't sew over the pins. I just pin parallel the intended seam and take them out as I sew.

If you would ask the same question in a good shop that sells sewing supplies you would be pointed to several products for those avoiding needles....
