Solar/Wind Forum for DIYers?

Does anyone know of a good DIY forum for solar/wind? I need a community to help with some real basic questions and this site while it is amazing has a low social to it. Looking for a group of solar/wind enthusiasts.

. I'm not much of an expert on anything ... but I am pretty good at using Google and have developed a decent Internet BS detector.

ok, you have "magical" googling abilities, which most people fail to attain.

I think NM's the "magic" is the ability to spell words in English correctly, and to have a reasonable knowledge of synonyms. It's a rare ability in the U.S. because of our public school system, but really, not magical at all.

. heehee With Google (and I assume most other search engines) you don't even have to spell well. Eg, if I type in "lineir accellerater" Google asks "Did you mean: linear accelerator".

most people don't notice the search bar at the tp right-hand corner of instructables. Other people are newcomers not knowing how social this website is. And a few, want other people to do their work for them
