Tesla Turbine Bike

I was curious if anyone has created an air compressed tesla turbine bike. Using a 4500 , maybe even 2 4500 carbon fiber tanks. Something along the lines of this instructable https://www.instructables.com/id/How_to_Strap_a_Leaf_Blower_Engine_to_a_Bike_and_Go/ Just curious if anyone has tried this, sort of thing and if it was plausible, and how long the tanks would last or if there was some other design such as directly hooking up to the gears.

I think there would be a lack of Power/torque. It turns very very fast but has no toque to speak of. I suppose it is possible but would take some Massive gearing to make it work.

Well, if the turbines are driving fans, and the turbines are driven by compressed air, why not use the compressed air directly? You certainly can use compressed air to drive wheels, but a tesla turbine spins too fast. Take a moment and think about other modes of transport that are driven by compressed gas...

What about something like 2 large fans, that would run on the turbine , you think there would be substantial enough propulsion? I don't think there would be but just brain storming.

Yeah that is what I figured, however I've never worked with well really anything so it would quite a project to start with, but hell I got all summer to learn. Thanks for the information.

I think one of the main problems would be gearing down the very high rotation speed of the tesla turbine. They typically reach speeds of 10,000rpm+, where a bicycle is more like 60-120 rpm. That would mean a lot of transmission components, which adds weight and reduces efficiency. Do a google search for "air powered go-cart" which might be helpful.
